Can others see Jesus in you ??

The same came for a witness , to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.--- John 1:6&7

There's a beautiful gospel song that says " You're the only Jesus some may ever see !". Profound lyrics to be sure , but how many of us daily take these words to heart ? My grandmother use to say we should live our lives so others would know we were Christians with out knowing anything else about us! A lot of times in this old world of ours that easier said than done. That's if we try to go at it alone! With constant prayer and God's providence we will never have to !! Take the example of John the Baptist. He had it harder than we ever could imagine. He was a man sent by God to be the first , sole witness for the Light ---Jesus! Before the Light was ever shone, John was to lead the way so all men through him might believe the good news of what was to come !! John was sent by God and through God he spread the word to the world!! We today have a living Light who has already fulfilled that good news!! Plus the example of John as well as many men and women of God who have gone before us. God has given us these examples that through them and His strength our Christian life can be a living breathing witness for Christ before we ever utter a breath of testimony. We can teach others more with our actions than we ever could with our lips!! Let us pray everyday that we can be the witness God needs us to be! The shining reflection of the Jesus that the world needs to see!!
